Overview

Meet Morris is a meetup planning service. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the app or website, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at the address at the bottom of this page.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier from the provider plus, on first sign-in, an optional name and email address.
• Device push tokens. If you enable notifications, we store the push token your device provides so we can deliver event reminders.
• Event content. Groups, events, RSVPs, and messages you create through the service.

How we use it

We use your information to authenticate you, to deliver event invitations and reminders, and to provide the core service. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How we store and protect it

Your information is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database encrypted at rest. Authentication is handled by Apple and Google — we never see or store your password. Communication between the app and our servers uses TLS.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers required to run Meet Morris: our hosting provider, our database provider, and the push notification services operated by Apple and Google. These providers process information solely on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your groups, your events, your RSVPs, your messages, and your push tokens. You may also contact us to request a copy of your data or to ask us to correct inaccurate information.

Children

Meet Morris is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
